Plans for 2009Printer friendly

We had a busy winter on the course (08-09) with the introduction of new bunkers, new and extended tees and the alteration of the aprons of some greens (the 4th hole and 7th in particular).  There was the planting of over 900 trees and some more mature and small plantation trees to the edges of the course.

We are also creating a pond at the back of the 16th hole in addition to mounds to the back right hand side where we have future plans.  We would like to extend great thanks to Doug Renwick for the fantastic job he has done on both the pond and mounds.  He really is an artist with the digger.

You should also notice a difference at the far end of the car park with our new practice area including, bunker, chipping area and practice net, all hopefully to improve your game.

All together it has been a great success due to the hard work of the Green Keeping team and we look forward to continuing a program of improvement over the coming years.
