2007 Woll Gents Open

2007 Woll Gents Open Sunday May 20th

In near perfect conditions a record entry of golfers from all over the Borders, Northumberland and Edinburgh took part in the 2nd running of the popular competition.
The course beautifully set up by the Head Green keeper Tommy Yeomans and his hard working staff proved once again to be a challenge to all who played. Only three of the entry managed to break par with their net scores and the best scratch score of the day was a very surprising 75 (Par 70) by

Winner on the day was Woll member Ian Campbell who tamed the course with a spectacular net 64 five shots clear of Craig Halliday (Kelso), third place went to the John Borthwick (Woll). Last years winner Rory Banks (Woll) came in a very creditable 4th.
