 Bad weather greeted the hardy golfers who played on both days of the first Par 3 Competition to be played over Woll. First winner of the Competition was Jake MacKenzie from Hawick who carded a 67 (5) 62 beating Sandy Batchelor net 64 into second place. (Mr Consistant) Jake who won the 2008 Order of Merit as well as the 2007-8 Winter League looks to be in fine form to retain the Winter League.
